    Ironworks

This is an interesting idea.  Micah Fries has started a new blog called “Ironworks” and the concept is about using blogs and blogging for the mutual benefit of each other.

The purpose of the blog is to use the concept of friend helping friend to build community and sharpen each other in an online format. The purpose of the blog will be to jointly study a book and communicate together in an online group setting for each other’s mutual benefit.

I think this could be very interesting way of putting modern technology to use in achiving biblically-based concepts.  This could also be a way to do group Bible study, or even a type of virtual adult Christian education.

What are your thoughts?  Have you tried anything like this before?  What other possibilities are there?  I think I’m going to join his group and try it out, how about you?
